I have been the Director of Operations at First Church in Boston since November, 2009.
A native of Co. Cork, Ireland and a graduate of Cork
Institute of Technology, I moved to Massachusetts in 1990. My background includes over 20 years of project and operations management in for and nonprofit settings. I live with my partner Sandra and our two very spoiled dogs, 15 miles south of Boston.
My role here at First Church covers a broad range of areas,
including oversight of the day to day operations of the church; management of the all administrative duties; oversight of church facilities; coordination of all aspects of rental of church space and parking and supervision of the Church Operations Team.
Managing the 24 hour a day operations of such a broad spectrum of activities is only possible with the input and support of ministerial staff, church leadership and a dedicated operations team.
