The Little Red School House

Children’s Church meets Sunday mornings from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon in the Auditorium at 66 Marlborough Street. Parents are welcome to visit the space at any time.

Children’s Church is a multi-age, child-centered religious education environment for elementary school age children. Our large, attractive classroom space offers opportunities each week for active games, music, drama or quiet engagement with craft activities. The goal of Children’s Church is to provide the structure and guidance for the children to create community in accordance with our UU principles while having fun learning about our faith tradition. Each week is a complete experience so children can attend and participate fully, whenever their schedules permit.

The First Sunday of each month is devoted to worship. The children learn about the elements of worship and participate in designing their own worship experience. Other weeks focus on the Scriptures, social action, and lessons from other religious traditions.
