"The First Person You Meet in Heaven"
"One of the great pleasures of last summer was working with Paul and all our musical members to put together two services for the American Guild of Organists, whose members were flooding the streets of Boston. We had so much original and inspiring music that Paul and I resolved that we should, in the early fall, share with you, the congregation, at least some of that treasure. I wrote a sermon directed to those leaders of church music from all over the country, and the response was heartening--but I can't repeat that because you all aren't musical directors! But the sermon was about claiming our spiritual freedom, and that does apply to everyone. Fear not, the title does not indicate that it is a Mitch Albom novel!"
