Ways to Give

During our Sunday Collection

You can make a contribution to the church by putting cash or a check in the offering plate during our Sunday service. On all checks and cash envelopes please include your name, address and what you’d like your contribution to be put towards. For example, your annual pledge, a special collection, the minister’s fund, etc.

By Mail

Mail your contribution to:

First Church Boston
66 Marlborough Street
Boston, MA 02116

Online Giving

Online giving allows for a specific dollar amount to be automatically deducted from a checking or savings account or a debt or credit card. You can set this up as a one-time or recurring gift. Online giving is not only easy, but safe and secure. Click here to give online.

Non-Cash Gifts

If you decide to make your contribution in stocks or mutual funds, you will receive a tax deduction for the fair market value of your securities at the time of donation, and you will pay no capital gains tax on the difference between your cost and the fair market value. Fill out the appropriate form, send a copy to your broker to authorize the transfer, and a copy to First Church Boston letting us know how you want the funds applied.

Legacy Giving

First Church Boston has been the fortunate beneficiary of generous donations throughout our long history. This has provided us with a strong base of support for our church, office, and parsonage buildings. You can continue to strengthen our financial foundation by designating FCB in your will. For more information, see our Legacy Giving page.

Will I receive a letter with my annual donation total for tax purposes?

Our finance staff will be sure to send you a letter indicating the total amount that you have donated through the calendar year every January. Please be sure to include your name and current mailing address on all donations to the church so that we can accurately track your giving and send you your tax-deduction letter.
